FLOWING KAFTAN SILHOUETTE

A relaxed, sweeping construction falls gracefully away from the body, offering an alternative to the fitted silhouettes throughout the JANAÉ ELAINE collection while maintaining a distinctly formal presence.

CAPE-LIKE DRAPE

The extended fabric flows from the shoulders and around the arms to create the appearance of elegant cape sleeves without interrupting the gown's continuous silhouette.

ELONGATED BEADED LINES

The Alessandra Gown is made to order and requires production time before shipment.

  • Standard Shipping: 7–10 days
  • Expedited Shipping: 5–7 days

Production and shipping are separate stages. If you're ordering for a scheduled event, we strongly recommend ordering well in advance to allow sufficient time for production, delivery, trying on your gown, and any alterations you may choose to have completed.

Please note: Selecting expedited shipping shortens the shipping/transit time only. It does not shorten the gown's production time.
Fit & Sizing

Alessandra offers a more fluid fit through the body than our fitted mermaid silhouettes, while maintaining structure through the upper bodice.

Formalwear sizing may differ from your everyday clothing size. Please select your size according to your measurements rather than the size you normally wear.

Measure your bust, natural waist, hips, and clavicle to ground, then compare your measurements with the Alessandra Size Guide before ordering.

Between sizes? We recommend choosing the size that accommodates your largest measurement. A professional tailor can refine the fit where necessary.

THE JANAÉ ELAINE FIT NOTE

Alessandra's kaftan-inspired silhouette is intentionally fluid and provides more ease through the waist and hips than our fitted evening gowns.

Your bust measurement is particularly important when selecting your size due to the construction of the upper bodice. Although the silhouette is flowing, the fabric itself has no stretch, so we do not recommend sizing down solely because of the gown's relaxed shape.

Consider your height and intended heel height when reviewing the floor-length measurement.
Care

Due to Alessandra's intricate crystal and beaded construction, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

Handle embellished areas carefully when dressing, transporting, and storing your gown. Avoid pulling or excessive friction against the beadwork and crystals.

Store in a breathable garment bag with sufficient room for the flowing silhouette to hang naturally.

We suggest trying on your gown with the undergarments and heel height you intend to wear to your event before having any alterations completed.
