SWEEPING TRAIN

Fit & Sizing

Celeste is designed with a fitted silhouette through the bodice, waist, and hips before transitioning into the voluminous tulle overskirt.

Formalwear sizing can differ from your everyday clothing size. Please select your size according to your measurements rather than the size you normally wear.

Before ordering, measure your:

Bust — Around the fullest part of your bust

Natural Waist — Around the narrowest part of your waist

Hips — Around the fullest part of your hips

Hollow to Floor — From the hollow at the base of your neck to the floor

Please compare these measurements with our size chart before selecting your size.

Between sizes? We recommend choosing the size that accommodates your largest measurement and having the gown professionally tailored where necessary.

THE JANAÉ ELAINE FIT NOTE

Celeste has a close fit through the bodice, waist, and hips. Pay particular attention to all three measurements when choosing your size rather than relying on your usual dress size.

The tulle overskirt adds volume beginning around the hip area and does not change the fitted construction of the gown underneath.

As with most formal gowns, minor alterations may be necessary to achieve your preferred fit and length.
Care

Due to the delicate embellished construction of Celeste, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

Handle beading, sequins, and tulle carefully when dressing, transporting, and storing your gown. Avoid excessive pulling or friction against embellished areas.

Store your gown in a breathable garment bag in a cool, dry place and allow sufficient room for the tulle to maintain its shape.

Depending on your proportions, height, and footwear, professional adjustments to the hem, straps, bodice, waist, or other areas may be recommended.

We suggest trying on your gown with the undergarments and heel height you intend to wear to your event before having any alterations completed.

It's crazy, girls! Order the same size as yours, measure in meters to get your correct size. I ordered from ready-made items, not custom ones, and it arrived in a week. But you need to contact the seller to check if it's available in stock or not. I took a size larger than mine because my size wasn't available. It's a bit loose at the waist and it's really long with a tail at the back.
