Production and shipping are separate stages. If you're ordering for a scheduled event, we strongly recommend ordering well in advance to allow sufficient time for production, delivery, trying on your gown, and any alterations you may choose to have completed.

Please note: Selecting expedited shipping shortens the shipping/transit time only. It does not shorten the gown's production time.

Genevieve is designed with a fitted bodice and a fuller A-line skirt. The bodice should sit closely through the bust and waist before opening into the voluminous ruffled silhouette.

Formalwear sizing may differ from your everyday clothing size. Please select your size according to your measurements rather than the size you normally wear.

Measure your bust, natural waist, hips, and clavicle to ground, then compare your measurements with the Genevieve Size Guide before ordering.

Between sizes? We recommend choosing the size that accommodates your largest measurement. A professional tailor can refine the fit where necessary.

THE JANAÉ ELAINE FIT NOTE

Genevieve is most fitted through the bust and waist, with a fuller skirt that provides considerably more room through the hips and lower body.

The lace-up corset back provides a degree of adjustability through the bodice, allowing the fit to be drawn in or loosened slightly. However, the gown itself has no stretch, so we still recommend selecting your size according to your measurements rather than sizing down because of the adjustable closure.

Because of the floor-length layered skirt, consider your height and intended heel height when reviewing the gown's length measurements.

Due to Genevieve's intricate embellishment and dimensional tulle ruffles, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

Handle the beadwork, pearl detailing, and ruffled tulle carefully when dressing, transporting, and storing the gown. Avoid pulling or excessive friction against embellished areas.

Store in a breathable garment bag with sufficient space to avoid excessively compressing the ruffled skirt.

It's crazy, girls, it's exactly like the picture. I was afraid and ordered a size larger than my actual size, and I really regretted it. Take your exact size.

The detailing is, God willing, very clean and tidy. The fabric has a subtle, delicate shine, not too much, and the layers of the skirt underneath are dense and fluffy in a nice way. Honestly, the work on the chest is precise and the beads are very well arranged. It just needs a little hanging so that the layers can settle after shipping and look even better.
