Margaux is composed of a coordinating cropped top and floor-length skirt, creating a subtle reveal at the waist while maintaining the drama and elegance of a formal gown.

ART DECO-INSPIRED BEADWORK

Intricate rows of shimmering embellishment form geometric, scalloped patterns across the top, giving the gown a distinctly ornate, jewelry-like finish.

BEADED FRINGE SLEEVES

Cascading strands of beadwork extend over the shoulders and upper arms, creating fluid movement and a softly draped sleeve effect.

FEATHERED SKIRT

Layered feather detailing travels down the skirt in dimensional tiers, creating texture, movement, and an unmistakable statement from every angle.

FITTED SILHOUETTE

The skirt follows the figure through the waist and hips before falling toward the floor, balancing the volume of the feathers with an elongated shape.

HEAD-TO-HEM TEXTURE

The Margaux Gown is made to order and requires production time before shipment.

  • Production Time: Allow up to 30 days
  • Standard Shipping: 7–10 days
  • Expedited Shipping: 5–7 days

Production and shipping are separate stages. For a scheduled event, we strongly recommend ordering well in advance to allow time for production, delivery, try-on, and potential alterations.

Expedited shipping reduces transit time only and does not shorten production time.
Fit & Sizing

Margaux is designed with a fitted skirt through the waist and hips and a cropped top that sits above the natural waist.

Formalwear sizing may differ from your everyday clothing size. Please select your size according to your measurements rather than the size you normally wear.

Measure your bust, natural waist, hips, and clavicle to ground, then compare your measurements with the Margaux Size Guide before ordering.

Between sizes? We recommend selecting the size that accommodates your largest measurement. A professional tailor can refine the fit where necessary.

THE JANAÉ ELAINE FIT NOTE

Because Margaux is a two-piece design, both your bust measurement and your waist/hip measurements are especially important.

The design intentionally reveals a small portion of the midriff between the top and skirt. The amount visible may vary depending on your torso length and proportions.

Margaux has no stretch, so we do not recommend sizing down.
Care

Due to the intricate beadwork, fringe, feathers, and tulle construction, professional dry cleaning by a cleaner experienced with embellished formalwear is recommended.

Handle the feather detailing gently and avoid crushing the gown during storage. Keep jewelry and accessories from catching against the beaded fringe.

Store in a breathable garment bag with enough room to prevent the feathers from being compressed.

Depending on your proportions, height, and footwear, professional adjustments to the hem, straps, bodice, waist, or other areas may be recommended.

We suggest trying on your gown with the undergarments and heel height you intend to wear to your event before having any alterations completed.
